Position Title: West Palm Beach (WPB) Operations Manager

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Position Summary:

We are adding the WPB Operations Manager to our management team to support the company’s continued growth.  Reporting directly to the COO, the WPB Operations Manager will be responsible for leading all activities related to the WPB office.  This includes but is not limited to operations for assigned clients, team oversight, and facility management.

Position Location: West Palm Beach Office

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations for assigned clients:
    • Ensure operational quality and productivity.
    • Create and monitor operational critical performance indicators (KPIs), taking action when appropriate.
    • Set, monitor, and ensure achievement of goals.
  • Manage team members, including offshore:
    • Recruit and train employees.
    • Set and monitor individual goals.
    • Conduct periodic performance reviews.
    • Review and sign off on payroll.
  • Assist with financial management:
    • Participate in budget development
    • Participate in financial review meeting
    • Review and explanation of budget vs. actual variances
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Promptly answer client questions.
  • Facilitate people, process, and technology issue resolution.
  • Identify and lead strategic initiatives that improve client satisfaction, increase collections, increase patient satisfaction, and/or enhance compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of state ARC RCM regulations, people, processes, and systems.
  • Know and follow information systems security policies and procedures, attend security training when offered, and report information systems security problems.
  • Adhere to and enforce compliance and company policies and procedures.

  • Assist all company departments as requested by company leadership.  
  • Develop and sustain excellent working relationships with internal and external professionals as well as with the Company’s clients, payers, consultants, banks and financial intermediaries and government agencies.
  • Present image to subordinates, superiors, and client-users as knowledgeable, creative, energetic, and assertive.
  • Convey an attitude of intolerance for unprofessional behavior.

  • Work with the team to communicate and share resources on critical projects, seeking opportunities to help others by sharing and reallocating priorities.

  • Work odd hours to accommodate the needs of clients in different time zones, with a focus on providing a high degree of responsiveness.

Candidate Qualifications & Expertise:

  • Experience with healthcare RCM.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management capabilities.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, in particular Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Data-driven decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.
  • Maintains an intense execution focus and demands results.
  • Creates an environment that balances support and debate, encourages innovation and values idea generation.
  • Effectively copes with change, comfortably handling risks and uncertainty.
